Mindful Microdosing: A Guidebook and Journal

The FIRST MICRODOSING BOOK by an award-winning mindfulness author and teacher that supports the entire process of preparation, actively microdosing, and integration through the lens of mindfulness. Both a guidebook and a journal, it is for those who have never microdosed and seasoned microdosers alike; for those microdosing on their own, and for those microdosing with a microdosing coach. It can be used by coaches, guides, and facilitators to better support their clients, programs, or retreats. There are illustrations by a Mexican mural artist for adult coloring, journaling, and contemplation. Reference charts are included to help guide your decisions so you feel educated, safe, and empowered in your mindful microdosing process at every step. Mindful Microdosing: A Guidebook and Journal offers an essential tool whether ingesting psychedelics on a micro or macro level. It cultivates a spaciousness of mind and expansiveness of heart that comes from the author’s years of mindfulness practice. Here mindfulness meets microdosing to offer you a unique experience and unfolding process..

Praise for Mindful Microdosing: A Guidebook and Journal

“In a modern world that is rife with distractions, advertisements, and inducements to use sacred medicines to one’s benefit, Lauren offers a compassionate, grounded and inspiring antidote. Through mindfulness suggestions, setting intentions, and invitations to create beauty, the reader is encouraged to tend the garden of their life and delight in what blooms through new relationships. Mindful Microdosing: A Guidebook and Journal is a breath of fresh air.”
—Katherine MacLean, Ph.D., Psychedelics Researcher (formerly at Johns Hopkins) and author of Midnight Water: A Psychedelic Memoir

We are so excited about Lauren’s newly released “Mindful Microdosing: A Guidebook and Journal” (GWP 2024) which is garnering a lot of praise and getting so much attention—most recently with Psilocybin San Francisco. They provide practical knowledge about psilocybin mushrooms, including risks and harm reduction, trip preparation, and integration. Their platform features leading figures in the psychedelic renaissance, including therapists, inventors, and founders. By sharing their insights and expertise, the organization aims to empower individuals to explore the potential of psilocybin mushrooms safely. Lauren’s article for them is entitled “Baby Boomers, Mindfulness & Psychedelics—Now More than Ever” and is up on their website (link to full article)

Psychedelics as a path to personal growth

In a new book, Lauren Alderfer explores the complementary benefits of mindfulness and the therapeutic use of minuscule doses of psychedelic drugs to achieve ‘a state of authenticity, loving kindness, equanimity, and wisdom.’ (Read the full article here.)
